Hi. I am Debbie, Nursery owner and chief story reader!

I have always worked with children and can’t imagine doing anything else. I have spent the past 28 years teaching in primary and secondary schools in the UK, South Africa, and Spain. I have an Honours Degree in Developmental Psychology and very recently ( at the age of 54) have completed a Masters’s Degree in Business and Organisational Psychology. I believe in continued professional development as there are always new strategies to learn. My passion for an understanding of how children develop drives my continued studies in this area.

Our goal is to provide a Nursery that is ‘home from home’ for your children. Curiosity and independence are at the heart of our approach and it is our goal to promote both these characteristics in our ‘Little Fireflies.’ But best of all are the cuddles! Our Little Fireflies Family is growing daily and we are all having such fun!
